BJP Central Leadership to Take a Call on Poll Pact with Jana Sena: Purandeswari
Kakinada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Daggubati Purandeswari made it clear that the central leadership of the party would take the final call on a pre-poll alliance with Jana Sena, which is continuing presently.
Addressing the party cadre at Dandamudi village in Jangareddygudem of Eluru district on Saturday, Purandeswari pointed out that Jana Sena was yet to state that the alliance had come to an end.
She said that the Union government was extending full support for the state’s development. Having announced in the Parliament that Amaravati was the capital of Andhra Pradesh, she said that the Centre was releasing funds to the state capital.
She said that the Centre was sanctioning several projects to the state and releasing funds for them. She said that she would visit Polavaram project soon as every paisa on it would be borne by the central government. Political parties are minting money from the project while misusing central funds and they are not bothered about its completion.
She said that the BJP would lodge a complaint with the Election Commission against fake votes.
She demanded the state government to release a white paper on sanctions and construction of houses as the Centre had allotted one lakh houses to Eluru district under the PM Awas Yojana scheme. She said that the BJP would chalk out a plan of action for the ensuing elections after taking the views of the party leaders and cadre in the state.
