Harish Says Government Murdered Democracy By Not Allowing BRS to Speak

Hyderabad: The BRS on Saturday accused the Congress government of “murdering democracy” and not allowing the principal Opposition party in the Assembly, to speak in the House freely.

Addressing the media after the House was adjourned for the day, BRS MLA T. Harish Rao, accompanied by party colleagues, said the government had made sweeping remarks and spoke lies while speaking on the Motion of Thanks to the Governor’s address.

Harish Rao had sought to ask some supplementary questions but Speaker G. Prasad Kumar said the person who spoke on the Motion of Thanks should be the one to ask supplementaries. In this case, it was BRS MLA K.T. Rama Rao.
