People line up to employ' TRS bigshots in Nizamabad
Nizamabad: Various people and organisations have shown an interest in paying wages to leaders of the TRS who are participating in the Gulabi Kooli programme.
Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha, minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and other TRS MLAs have earned lakhs of rupees in wages by participating in symbolic works of labour.
The TRS has been raising funds over the past few days through the Gulabi Kooli programme. In Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts, TRS MPs and MLAs actively participated in the programme and earned money. Ms Kavitha sold sarees at the LVR showroom in Nizamabad and earned '6.9 lakh on Sunday.
Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy worked as a hamali in Banswada on Monday and earned '2 lakh. Nizamabad rural and urban MLAs Bajireddy Govardhan and Bigala Ganesh Gupta worked at hotels, apartments, and car show rooms, and received wages in the form of cash and cheques.
Other MLAs and MLCs from the two districts are also planning to take up work under the Gulabi Kooli programme.
Real estate traders, builders, hotel owners etc. are waiting to employ these leaders.
