MLA Maganti Gopinath's associates booked for assaulting BRS worker

Hyderabad: Madhuranagar police on Tuesday registered a case against Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath’s personal staff and associates for assaulting a BRS worker.

The complainant, Ganesh Prasad Singh, told police that the MLA’s personal assistant and other associates abused and assaulted him and his father, allegedly over a small-sized photograph of the MLA on a poster he set up during Bonalu celebrations at Vengal Rao Nagar.

Police are also probing allegations against Telangana State Education and Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation (TSEWIDC) chairman Ravula Sridhar Reddy and his associates for abusing division corporator G. Dedeepya Rao.

Dedeepya alleged that Sridhar Reddy had abused her during an event on Sunday as well during Bonalu celebrations.
