Steering of KCR’s car is with the Owaisis: Pralhad Joshi

Joshi recalled the sacrifices of the martyrs who fought against the Razakar army and slammed KCR for ignoring the real Telangana heroes.

Hyderabad: On Tuesday, with the unfurling of the National Flag at Dr Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan, the Telangana BJP started its celebrations of Telangana Liberation Day for which BJP state leaders had been making arrangements and accusing TRS government of ignoring the sacrifices of the martyrs who fought against the Nizam’s razakar army.

The BJP held a big public meeting at Patancheru and, one after another, BJP leaders including the chief guest, Union minister Pralhad Joshi, MoS, home, G. Kishan Reddy and other senior leaders spoke.

Mr Joshi recalled the sacrifices of the martyrs who fought against the Razakar army and slammed Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for ignoring the real Telangana heroes.

Mr Joshi said, “The steering of KCR’s car is in MIM’s hands.”

Comparing Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, he said Sardar Patel had got 500 provinces merged with India and, like him, another Gujarati, Mr Modi, has made the integration of Kashmir with India real. Hyderabad state was liberated on September 17, and the man who merged Kashmir with India was born on the same date.”

BJP state president Dr K. Laxman accused the TRS government of not celebrating Liberation Day as an official function under pressure of the Owaisi brothers.

Dr Laxman said that, "Mr. Rao, before coming to power, had promised to celebrate State Liberation day officially but later he cheated the people and went back on his word.”

Mr Kishan Reddy said the TRS government was scared of the MIM and hence was not celebrating Liberation Day.

Mr Reddy demanded that the sacrifices of the martyrs and the history of Telangana’s liberation should be included in school textbooks for the reference of future generations.

BJP Mahila Morcha president Akula Vijaya, along 70 women, was prevented from hoisted the National Flag on Golconda.
