K Chandrasekhar Rao plans to cheat again, says Congress
Hyderabad: “The unfulfilled promises of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti which were made during the 2014 General Elections have resulted in distrust of the TRS manifesto that was announced by the caretaker Chief Minister and party president K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday”, said Congress manifesto committee co-chairman Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
Speaking to media persons, Mr Venkat Reddy slammed the TRS declaring that it had as good as lost the elections after it copied the manifesto of the Congress.
He said, “The people are not ready to believe the TRS or Mr Rao with the manifesto they have come with. The people have lost trust in the TRS as the promises made in the 2014 general elections were not fulfilled in the four and half years of the TRS government. The Chief Minister earlier said that it was not possible to provide an allowance to the unemployed but was now saying it could be done. The person who criticised us saying that we needed south India’s entire budget to fulfil Congress’ promises, has now prepared a manifesto with the promises of the Congress. The TRS fears defeat in the elections. Why didn’t the TRS respond on the CPS scheme?”
Former minister G. Chinna Reddy said, “Many farmers have been facing troubles with the TRS government.
The TRS does not give importance to the farmers’ problems like the Congress did. The Congress government will be implementing the Minimum Support Price along with a special fund for farmers.”
