Naidu alleges Jagan blocking AP’s progress
VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu alleged on Thursday that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has blocked the progress of the state.
Addressing a roadshow at Adoni as part of his state tour programme, the opposition leader said “the people have realised their mistake of electing Jagan Mohan Reddy to power.” He expressed surprise that a whole family attempted suicide after they were threatened by a police constable. Two members of the family died, he noted and asked why the law and order system turned worse like this.
"What will happen if the TD cadre retaliates? The police should seriously think about this," he warned.
The former chief minister was happy at the huge turnout to his road show. He stated, "I am not a film actor but the people come in large numbers for my meetings and this indicates the public support is with the TD.”
Naidu said the YSRC government is imposing taxes even on toilets. “The liquor mafia is ruling the roost. The ‘Havala Minister’ represents Prakasam district while the ‘Benz Minister’ Kurnool district. This was how the state cabinet was formed. The ruling party MLAs are involved in corruption and YSRC leaders are looting the mineral resources.”
Noting that no state has three capitals, Naidu asked the public whether they wanted three capitals or a single capital. The immediate response in chorus was, “One capital.” He promised the people that the Anna Canteens will be reopened once the TD got back to power.
