New government adviser on staff takes over
VIJAYAWADA: Education minister Botcha Satyanarayana on Thursday inaugurated the office of the newly appointed government adviser (Employee Welfare) N. Chandrasekhar Reddy. Soon after, Satyanarayana, along with the new adviser and government adviser (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy interacted with leaders of various employee unions with regard to their pending issues and problems.
The minister maintained that the new special advisor will act as a bridge between the government and employees. He said in addition to welfare of employees, state government has paid special attention to uplift of poorer sections in the society. He pointed out that the state government is implementing many schemes on a saturation basis to benefit the entire population, including through direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme, where there is no scope for corruption.
Government adviser Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said employees play a vital role in implementing the various innovative schemes of Jagan Mohan Reddy government. He said the government is taking steps to solve all non-financial problems of employees as soon as possible.
Ramakrishna Reddy called upon employees to fully cooperate with the government in improving the condition of poor in the society.
Government adviser (Employee Welfare) Chandrasekhar Reddy, AP NGO Association president Bandi Srinivasa Rao, State Revenue Department Association president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu and AP Secretariat Association president K. Venkatarami Reddy were among those who participated in the programme.
