Revanth will lose deposit in Kamareddy: Harish Rao

Nizamabad: Health minister T. Harish Rao claimed that TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy would lose his deposit in the Kamareddy constituency, where he is contesting against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Harish Rao said that the BRS would retain all nine seats in undivided Nizamabad district.

Harish Rao was speaking at election campaign meetings in Nizamabad Urban, Bodhan and Armoor constituencies on Saturday, The minister said that the BRS, if elected again, would give ready to eat (aged) superfine rice to cardholders from January.

He said that the Congress which was in power for 55 years was responsible for the poverty in Muslims. Chandrashekar Rao gave importance to the community for higher education and set up residential educational institutions, he said.

He said that Chandrashekar Rao had fulfilled a majority of his poll promises. He said the BRS government had deposited '72,000 crore into the bank accounts of farmers under Rythu Bandhu, which was not a poll promise.

People should decide whether they need BRS government for 24x7 power supply or the Congress which has said three hours are sufficient, he said. People in Karnataka were cheated by the Congress which ahd failed to implement its election guarantees, Harish Rao said.

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanaka Gandhi had held many campaign meeting in Karnataka but had disappeared from the state after the party failed to keep its promises there, he said

Reacting on allegations of a secret pact between the BRS and the BJP, Harish Rao as that if that was so, why would Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, a former BJP leader, keep bills passed by the Assembly pending.
