MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi gets richer by Rs 10.61 crore in 4 years
Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittihadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi has become richer by Rs 10.61 crore in a span of four years.
The barrister who filed his nomination papers to contest the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency, showed a vertical increase in the value of his movable and immovable assets.
Apart from properties and cash, the chief of the Kite party owns an NP Bore 0.22 pistol and NP Bore 30-60 rifle, each worth Rs 1 lakh.
Mr Owaisi has three criminal cases against him under serious crime sections. The cases have been booked at Shirpur in Maharashtra, and Mir Chowk police station and Charminar in Hyderabad. There are also cases against him in Bihar and Nanded.
Mr Owaisi owns a palatial house in Shastripuram, Mailardevpally, Rajendernagar in Ranga Reddy district in which his spouse Farheen Owaisi holds a one-fourth share. A flat in Sansad Vihar, Dwarka, New Delhi, a house in Misrigunj — Hyderabad .
There is a substantial increase in the assets of Farheen Owaisi too. Properties owned by her increased in value from Rs 51,30,400 to Rs 3,75,00,000 in four years.
It is interesting to note that Mr Owaisi has movable assets of Rs 1,67,49,518 of which Rs 1,20,00,000 was given by his wife for the construction of the house.
Along with the assets, the liability of the Owaisi couple has increased as well - Mr Owaisi's bank loan is of Rs 9.30 crore and Ms Owaisi has a loan of Rs 2.75 crore.
