Yanamala did nothing for Tuni: Raja
Roads and building construction minister Dadisetty Raja on Friday lashed out at former minister and Telugu Desam senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.
Addressing a meeting at Tuni constituency, the minister alleged that Yanamala did nothing for the constituency in past 40 years and no development works were undertaken in Tuni during Yanamala’s regime.
He pointed out that in 1982-83, Yanamala did not have even Rs 1.50 lakh, the villagers mobilised the amount and gave it to him. But now Yanamala has properties in all metropolitan cities including Bangaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and others.
Raja claimed that he was a born landlord and had properties since his grandfather’s regime. He also claimed that he is one of the richest families in the constituency.
Raja said that Yanamala made false allegations that he had illegally purchased lands at Kotananduru mandal. The minister clarified that “he did not have even a single acre in Kotananduru. If Yanamala can show even one acre of land in the mandal, he would give that piece of land to Yanamala”.
Raja said that people of Tuni voted for Yanamala six times, but he failed to provide drinking water in 70 per cent of the villages. He said that now, the YSRC government is constructing a water grid project and all villages would get drinking water.
The minister stated that all roads in the constituency would be developed within a month. He said that YSRC would win the 2024 elections and hoisted the party flag in Tuni.
