TD trying to divert public attention from scams by highlighting Naidu's health issue
Vijayawada: Adviser to government (public affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has said the real face of corruption and illegalities of Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been exposed to the public through the Skill Development scam.
“The real face of Naidu’s supporter and media baron Ramoji Rao has also been laid bare with the latest statements from Yuri Reddi,” the adviser told the media here on Wednesday.
He refuted allegations that the government was treating Naidu in an inhuman manner, and said such claims were “dramas of TD leaders” to gain sympathy for Naidu.
He alleged that Chandrababu and Ramoji Rao had a habit of backstabbing those who helped them build their career. “Both are well versed in white collar crimes. Naidu ditched his father-in-law, NTR, who gave him political life. Ramoji Rao ditched GJ Reddi who helped him in establishing Margadarshi.”
“Both have the same mindset. That's why they became one.”
The adviser said that after the arrest of Chandrababu, the TD leaders and activists were trying to divert the attention of the common man from the scams of Chandrababu. “Technical issues are being brought to the fore and the issue of corruption is being sidelined. Naidu’s skin rashes were portrayed as a fatal disease. The fraud committed by Ramoji Rao became public at a time when Naidu was arrested and remanded in the Skill scam, Ramakrishna Reddy said.
“Chandrababu as chief minister looted '371 crore by showing a fake agreement, and later diverted the amount to shell companies, after which the same money was redirected to him.”
“Officials say everything happened with the direct involvement of Chandrababu, the evidence being his signatures. To hide facts, Naidu PA was sent abroad,” the adviser said.
