Lands allotted to four new industries in Tirupati
TIRUPATI: As part of encouraging upcoming industrialists, District Revenue Officer (DRO) Srinivasa Rao said lands have been allotted to four new industries in the district from the land bank of the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC) and Rs 1.47 crore has been sanctioned to 32 industries as per the instructions of the inspection and monitoring committee.
Chairing the meeting of the District Industries and Export Promotion Committee (DIEPC) here on Friday, the DRO reviewed with the industrialists and officials concerned on giving approvals to industries on priority basis, sanctioning subsidies and other issues.
Srinivasa Rao said the SVR Eco Zone Private Limited was allotted two acres in Velampadu Industrial Park, Century Adhesive and Chemicals Limited was allotted 3.32 acres in Akkampeta Industrial Park and Coastal Drugs was allotted 1.01 acres in Atthivaram Industrial Park.
As of now, around 336 industries have obtained construction permits through the single desk portal and another 20 applications are pending as they were being reviewed by the departments concerned.
He said the authorities have been paying subsidies for MSMEs without any pendency and the DIEPC has approved the payment of Rs 1.47 crore on Friday.
He said the budding entrepreneurs and industrialists will get encouragement from both the state and central governments to set up units. He said the APIIC lands were readily available in the district to set up industries and the authorities were ready to provide all amenities.
