BJP Mocks Congress' Six Guarantees, Labels Them 'Scamgress Guarantee Card'
HYDERABAD: The BJP put up posters mocking the Congress’ Six Guarantees on the walls opposite Gandhi Bhavan. Calling the promises ‘Scamgress guarantee card,’ the BJP said the Congress’ plans would only give impetus to land encroachment and 70 per cent commissions.
The posters highlighted the reported comment by TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy of three hours of power supply being sufficient to most farmers with a 10 horsepower motor, and claimed that farmers would be left high and dry and “gallows will be delivered free.”
The BJP mocked the ‘high command-centric” style of the Congress and said that the party had not even given 20 per cent of seats to Backward Classes community which constitutes 52 per cent of the population. The posters said that the Congress if elected to power would sell government jobs and forget about the promise of giving unemployment allowance.
It repeated the allegations of “sale of tickets” by dissidents who quit the Congress after failing to get nomination, and also pointed out that many Congress MLAs had defected to the BRS.
