After getting notice, Bandi Sanjay seeks same treatment to KTR
HYDERABAD: After receiving notice from the SIT probing the TSPSC question paper leak, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar sought notice to be served to minister K.T. Rama Rao as well, over derogatory comments on Opposition parties.
Also, he demanded an inquiry into the case by a sitting judge to ascertain the facts of the case.
The special investigation team (SIT) probing the case served a notice to Bandi Sanjay, asking him to submit evidence to support claims made by him in the case.
Bandi Sanjay said that the government was suppressing the voices of the media and Opposition parties by serving notices through the police.
“The Chief Minister turned out to be a dictator ruling Telangana. Police sought evidence from me in connection with the paper leak case. K.T. Rama Rao also made similar comments against me that I indulged in the case. Will the SIT officials serve notices to K.T. Rama Rao asking to submit evidence?” he said.
Terming SIT officials as “government’s puppets”, Bandi Sanjay also called for SIT probe into the Nayeem case and land scams, among other issues in Telangana.
