Rahul Gandhi is next PM, says Vundavalli
KAKINADA: Former Rajamahendravaram MP Vundavalli Aruna Kumar on Friday declared that Rahul Gandhi has developed into a mature leader and Congress will come to power in the next Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of Rahul.
Arun Kumar felt that the countdown for defeat of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the forthcoming LS polls has started with the Karnataka assembly poll results. He said it is a good sign for India that Congress has decisively won in Karnataka. This will result in Congress party getting strengthened throughout the country, he remarked.
The former MP said though Congress got defeated in 1977 elections, the party won in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. He observed that Karnataka giving 51 percent of its votes to Congress shows anti-incumbency against the Modi government.
Arun Kumar declared that recently, when he travelled in a flight with Rahul Gandhi, the latter’s behaviour with other passengers attracted many. He declared that Rahul Gandhi is the upcoming leader of the country.
The former MP said if Congress is strengthened, it will benefit the country and democracy. Replying to a question, he clarified that he is not connected with any political party.
