Vijayawada: Minister for water resources Ambati Rambabu said that Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu is suppressing Nandamuri family hence brought Nara Bhuvaneswari to do Odarpu Yatra in place of Nandamuri Balakrishna. He recalled that initially Balakrishna had announced that he would be carrying out Odarpu Yatra but fearing losing control over the party, Naidu hatched a plot and kept Balakrishna from Odarpu yatra.
Addressing a press meet here on Thursday, Rambabu said that the TD leaders and Naidu’s family members are creating confusion among the public. He pointed out that they mentioned several issues in front of the Rajahmundry Central Jail, however, those should be argued in the courts and it was not a polite way to make allegations against the state government. He further pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu was under Judicial Custody and the jail department officials were acting as per the directions received from the courts and clarified that it was the Jail department's responsibility, it would not have any relation to the state government.
