KTR disturbing centre-state relations, says Revuri

The Centre is sanctioning ₹28 per kg of rice distributed to weaker sections under public distribution system (PDS)

WARANGAL: BJP leader of Narsampet constituency Revuri Prakash Reddy on Thursday observed that having studied in the USA, IT minister and TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao is behaving like a non-politician. His comments are disturbing the relationship between the centre and state and are against the federal spirit, he underlined.

The BJP leader pointed out that central government is releasing funds for various developmental works in Telangana. It is sanctioning ₹ 28 per kg of rice distributed to weaker sections under public distribution system (PDS). Centre gives ₹ 5 lakh to state government for 2 BHK housing scheme and ₹ 3 lakh for construction of houses for shelter-less poor.

Prakash Reddy charged that KTR and other TRS leaders are claiming that it is the state government, which is investing all the money for developmental works. This amounts to cheating, he pointed out.

The BJP leader alleged that without giving gas connection to even a single house in Narsampet municipality, Rama Rao and local MLA Peddi Sudharshan Reddy have gone on to announce that they are supplying gas for less price.

He said by misusing public money, ruling TRS led by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has turned the surplus state into a debt-ridden one. He maintained that under previous governments, government employees used to get salaries during the first week of every month. But under TRS government, employees are not getting salaries even after completion of the third week, he stated.

Prakash Reddy maintained that people are observing every move of TRS and noticing false statements by its leaders. They are ready to teach a fitting lesson to the ruling party in the days to come, he declared.
