KURNOOL: Speaker Thammineni Sitaram questioned the authority of certain media to judge on involvement of YSRC MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy in the Vivekananda Reddy murder case.
“CBI is investigating the murder case and will take appropriate action. Why should media sit on the judgment,” he observed while interacting with reporters when he visited the Srisailam Temple on Sunday.
The speaker and his family received a warm welcome from temple authorities. Priests performed for them rituals, such as Rudrabhishekam and Kumkumarchana.
Sitaram expressed confidence over YSRCP making a clean sweep of 175 seats in the 2024 AP assembly general elections.
He criticised TD national general secretary Nara Lokesh for the latter’s inability to effectively communicate in the local language.
