Counter BRS false propaganda: Congress to cadre
Hyderabad: In a bid to counter the decennial celebrations of Telangana formation day, what the Congress calls a propaganda by the BRS at the cost of public exchequer, the pary has called on its cadre to expose the failings of the ruling party on June 22. As part of this, the age-old party will hold protest demonstrations.
Calling on the cadre to expose the BRS, the PAC (Political Affairs Committee) in its meeting held under the aegis of TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday had decided to hold these protests in all Assembly constituency headquarters and then give representations to the RDO or MRO. The meet resolved to take up these programmes on a big scale roping in those affected by the lack of their implementation.
“The programmes that are sought to be exposed are free education from KG to PG, fee reimbursement, job for every household, unemployment dole, double bedroom house for the poor, three-acre land for the poor, documents for podu lands, loan waiver for farmers, 12 per cent reservation for Muslims and Tribals,” TPCC working president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said in a release.
