Maharashtra BJP MLA asked strengthen cadre in Adilabad
Adilabad: The BJP will focus more on social media to reach out to the people and party workers and to popularise central government schemes in the run-up to the assembly elections.
The BJP is not only targeting the party workers and sympathizers but also various community associations and professional bodies and making them members in separate Whats App groups and creating ward-level WhatsApp groups in Adilabad town.
There are 281 polling booths in the Adilabad assembly constituency.
BJP leaders said there are Apps through which thousands of messages will be transmitted or forwarded at one go, unlike the popular Apps. Social media members were asked to explore such technology to forward party messages in lakhs at a time and reach out to the masses.
Sandip Prabhakar Dhurve, MLA of Arni-Khelapur in Maharashtra has been appointed for overseeing the party programmes in Adilabad assembly constituency under Pravas Yojana.
Addressing a party meeting in Adilabad constituency, Sandip Dhurve asked the party leaders, activists and social media conveners to forward, share and retweet the party messages especially PM Modi's messages.
He said this would help the party a lot and create a positive opinion among the public towards the party and candidates to be fielded in the assembly elections.
Dhurve asked the party activists to use the Saral and Narendra Modi App to reach out to more people and update information about the party activities and strengthen their war rooms to disseminate party information down the line.
Along with party district president Payal Shankar and senior leader Suhasini Reddy, Sandip Dhurve drew a Lotus painting on the wall in polling station number 257 in Adilabad town.
BJP ticket aspirants promised the social media committees of district, constituency and mandal levels to provide them with technology support to set up ‘war rooms’ and smartphones to activate publicity for the party.
BJP state executive president Enrlala Nagesh, vice-president Dinesh Matolia, town president LalaMunna, Narayana Reddy, Ghataka Kranti, Party official spokespersons Shivaiah and Jyoti Reddy, Sunanda, Dhoni Jyoti and senior leaders were present.
