KADAPA: Kadapa mayor Kottamaddi Suresh Babu on Monday said that Telugu Desam chief N Chandrababu Babu would be defeated in the upcoming elections in his constituency Kuppam.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the Telugu Desam Party will have to close its party offices across the state. He thanked the electorate for ensuring an overwhelming majority for YSRC in the ZPTC and MPTC elections in the district. He said that 99 per cent of the promises made during his padayatra were fulfilled by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He said that unable to digest the wins scored by YSRC in the municipal and corporation elections, Naidu was spreading false propaganda. He alleged that in the past, the then SEC and a Naidu-aide, N Ramesh Kumar had enabled postponement of elections by misusing his powers.
He said that 51 per cent of nominated posts in the state were allotted to women and the Chief Minister was giving equal priority to all castes and religions. Suresh Babu said Naidu was in serious trouble as YSRC had pocketed five ZPTCs and all mandal parishads in Kuppam Assembly constituency.
