Congress screening panel to go on north TS yatra

Hyderabad: Amid the ongoing Parliament session, the Congress screening committee, most of whom are MPs, including chairman K. Muralidharan, held an informal meeting in Delhi on Wednesday.

In the meeting, the members decided to hold a bus yatra from north Telangana shortly. The yatra will include the PCC president and CLP leader, among others, to propagate the party’s declarations and guarantees.

Sources said that the committee will meet again on Thursday. The members of the committee from Telangana, TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkatreddy, are all MPs.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge included campaign committee chairman Madhu Yaskhi and Komatireddy Venkatreddy in the screening committee.
