BJP offered more support to farmers than BRS, Congress, says Muralidhar Rao
Hyderabad: BJP Madhya Pradesh party incharge P. Muralidhar Rao on Tuesday said the BRS had become outdated just like Ambassador cars and prophesied that it will not get people’s mandate. He also added that the Congress is trying to steal the mandate of the people.
Addressing media persons, Muralidhar Rao said the BJP’s manifesto has been tailor-made to do justice to the farmers. “The Central government has devised welfare schemes to ensure that farmer don’t die by suicide,” he said and listed RS 9,000 per acre subsidy, Rs 1,000 in addition to the MSP as bonus.
He said the Modi government was working to make the country self-reliant in the production of pulses and oil seeds. The Centre was also supporting organic farming.
