BSP's Telangana Bharosa Sabha in Hyd on May 7, Mayawati as chief guest
ADILABAD: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will hold a ‘Telangana Bharosa Sabha’ in Hyderabad on May 7 in the presence of party president and former UP chief minister Kumari Mayawati. The present plan is to hold the meeting on Saroornagar grounds at 4pm on May 7.
The meeting aims to extend ‘bharosa’ to the unemployed youth as also women and farmers and other sections of the population, who were deprived of their rights in the nine years of rule of the BRS in the state.
Mayawati is coming to Telangana for the first time after RS Praveen joined the party and was made state BSP president. The leadership hopes to mobilize one lakh persons for the public meeting.
The state BSP leaders would discuss with the party national president the political strategy for the party in the next assembly and Parliament elections in TS. Mayawati would arrive in Hyderabad after a round of poll campaign for the party in Karnataka, party sources hinted.
