ADILABAD: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay said on Sunday that the Enforcement Directorate would arrest MLC K Kavitha if a requirement arose during the investigations into the Delhi liquor scam.
“It is an open secret that Kavitha was involved in the liquor business. The law will take its course against Kavitha. A day will come when the ED arrests Kavitha,” he said in reply to questions from the media about the Delhi liquor scam case. Sanjay was at Aleti Maheshwar Reddy’s house in Nirmal on his way to Hyderabad.
He said the Congress and BRS would have an alliance in the assembly elections in Telangana. ”Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao was giving Rs 1,000 crore as party fund to the Congress party in the state. KCR is preparing the list of Congress candidates to be fielded in the assembly polls where the BRS is weak, so as to face the BJP. Such candidates, if they win, would join the BRS," he said.
Speaking to the media in Adilabad, Bandi Sanjay said, “The BJP government that will be formed in the state after the polls will take back the 11-acre land at Kokapet that was given to BRS by the CM for a nominal price of Rs 40 crore. This land is worth Rs 1,100 crore in the open market.”
He demanded that the state government withdraw the orders granting the land at Kokapet in Hyderabad to the BRS party. “Otherwise we will launch an agitation against the government in this respect.”
Bandi Sanjay said the state government should construct 2BHKs in the same place for the poor.
The BRS government grabbed the valuable lands by saying that the Congress government had also sanctioned lands to the Congress party in the same area in the past. Both the Congress and BRS have an understanding and are cheating the people of the state, he said.
Bandi Sanjay described the scrapping of GO 111 as a big scam involving lakhs of crores worth of real estate business. He alleged that the KCR family had already purchased huge swathes of land in the areas that fall under GO-111. “The KCR family will do real estate business now by taking advantage of the cancellation of the above government order,” he said.
Bandi Sanjay said the BJP would fight like a lion in the next assembly elections, all alone, and come to power.
