WARANGAL: Senior TRS leader, Gudimalla Ravi Kumar, has alleged that the TRS is suppressing real party workers who fought for the cause of a separate statehood and is spreading the red carpet for leaders who defect from other parties.
He demanded that the TRS allot the Warangal East constituency to a dedicated party worker, failing which, he warned, the party would face the wrath of the Telangana fighters from across the state.
Mr Ravi Kumar accused other leaders in the party of trying to silence them when they tried to raise their voice. He said those who worked dedicatedly for the development of the party have received nothing but suffering. “Those who have joined the TRS from other parties have formed their own groups and are keeping the true party workers away. We have become untouchables in the party today,” he lamented.
He said the Telangana fighters in the state were unhappy and the party needed to give them due recognition.
