KCR should apologise to Nadda for ‘grave’ blunder, says Union minister
HYDERABAD: The Centre is committed to establishing a fluoride mitigation research centre in Munugode constituency, said Union minister for parliamentary affairs Prahlad V. Joshi on Friday. Joshi, on a visit to the state as part of BJP’s Lok Sabha Pravas Yojana, told reporters that even though the Centre was keen on a research facility, the state government was yet to provide land for it.
Referring to the controversy over a grave that came up in Munugode constituency for BJP president J.P. Nadda, Joshi said it was common for political parties to criticise and condemn each other. “But what happened here-making the samadhi of a living person speaks of the culture of TRS and its leader. As they cannot face BJP politically, they are resorting to such cheap acts,” he said.
“If Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has some decency in him, he should apologise to Nadda,” Joshi said.
The Union minister said the TRS government has much to answer for like why it did not implement crop insurance scheme, why there has been no survey of crop losses and or why Telangana did not send utilization certificates for funds provided under PM Awas Yojana.
“Clearly, the TRS has diverted these funds and this means that no further funds can come until the certificates are submitted,” he said.
