Cheruku Sudhakar from Nalgonda joins BRS
Hyderabad: The Congress in Nalgonda district suffered a blow with its senior leader Cheruku Sudhakar formally joining the BRS on Saturday, in the presence of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and minister T. Harish Rao.
Welcoming Sudhakar, Rama Rao said his joining the party, along with Jitta Balakrishna, Epuru Somanna and Hardeep Reddy, had strengthened the BRS. It was it now certain that the BRS would win all 12 seats in the undivided Nalgonda district area.
Harish Rao said Sudhakar was a hardcore Telangana votary who went to prison for 45 days during the statehood agitation. Addressing Sudhakar, and others from Aler and Nakrekal constituencies who also joined the BRS, Harish Rao said, “All of you are joining today to ensure KCR becomes the Chief Minister again. Progress in Telangana was possible under KCR’s leadership.”
