Peddireddy confident of YSRC victory in Chittoor district
Tirupati: Mines minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy exuded confidence that the ruling YSR Congress will secure victory in all seven assembly constituencies of Chittoor district.
Participating in a review meeting of party leaders in Chittoor on Sunday, he maintained that under the leadership of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSRC will not lose even a single seat in the upcoming elections.
The meeting reviewed preparations for ruling party’s Social Justice Bus Yatra, which is starting on Thursday, October 26, as well as “Why AP Needs Jagan" programme. Deputy chief minister K. Narayana Swamy attended the meeting.
Peddireddy emphasised on coordination within party leaders to ensure the success of upcoming programmes in Chittoor district. The Social Justice Bus Yatra will cover all assembly constituencies in the seven districts of Rayalaseema and run from October 26 to November 2. It will culminate in Chittoor town.
"Jagan has fulfilled his promises given to scheduled castes (SCs), scheduled tribes (STs), backward classes (BCs), and minorities, whereas TDP had used BCs, SCs, STs, and minorities only for votes, doing nothing for them. Our legislators have the strength to highlight the good deeds of CM Jagan,” the minister stated.
He underlined that the Social Justice Bus Yatra will highlight financial and political empowerment that SCs, STs, BCs and minorities have achieved following the initiatives of the YSRC government.
Peddireddy maintained that the yatra will also expose the scams and wrongdoings of the Telugu Desam Party.
