HYDERABAD: TRS legislator representing LB Nagar Assembly constituency, Devireddy Sudheer Reddy, on Monday said that 12 Congress MLAs along with him did not join TRS in 2019 to form any government in Telangana unlike BJP, which admitted MLAs from other parties, to topple democratically-elected
non-BJP governments in eight states.
He was reacting to union minister G. Kishan Reddy's comments made on Sunday that the BJP will never resort to backdoor methods to gain power.
Speaking to the media here, Sudeeer Reddy said, "BJP admitted MLAs from other parties to dethrone right non-BJP governments. Are they not adopting backdoor methods to gain power? Kishan Reddy should answer this."
He asked Kishan Reddy to answer whether the BJP training programmes were organised to train party activists in toppling democratically elected governments and how to come to power through backdoor methods.
