Survey: K Chandrasekhar Rao best among 22 Chief Ministers
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been rated the top performer among 22 CMs across the country.
A poll tracking opinion survey carried out CVOTERS-IANS found that Mr Rao received the highest rating from the voters, followed by his counterparts Jai Ram Thakur of Himachal Pradesh, Naveen Patnaik of Odisha and Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi. Mr Rao’s rival, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, came in at the 14th spot.
The survey polled 20,827 respondents in Telangana state, of whom 68.3 per cent expressed a high level of satisfaction with the work of Mr Rao.
While 20.8 per cent were satisfied to some extent, 9.9 per cent were not at all satisfied. In AP, out of 19,900 respondents, 41.7 per cent said they were highly satisfied with Mr Naidu, 28.2 per cent were satisfied and 28.6 per cent respondents showed dissatisfaction.
CMs V. Narayansamy of Puducherry, Edappadi K. Palaniswami of Tamil Nadu, Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh T.S. Rawat of Uttarakhand got the least approval ratings.
Certainly a disappointment to the ruling party in TN, as survey found that the people are least satisfied with K. Palaniswami.
A whopping 42 per cent respondents said they were not satisfied with the Chief Minister at all.
