No negative force can stop PM Modi's third time: Karnataka BJP president
Mangaluru: State BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra has responded emphatically to the recent 'Panauti' remark directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing party workers during a meeting in Mangaluru on Wednesday, Vijayendra stated, "In connection to Cricket World Cup, Rahul Gandhi claims Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not good luck.
However, I want to remind him that the person who brought an end to the Congress, which ruled for 50-55 years, is Rahul Gandhi. We perform good work during favorable times, not Rahu Kal. The Congress party's leader is Rahul Gandhi, and there is no difference between Rahu Kal and Rahul Gandhi. The moment he assumed responsibility for the party, Rahu Kal began. It will persist," Vijayendra said.
Expressing confidence in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, Vijayendra declared, "I.N.D.I.A alliance wants to defeat Modi. They aim to come to power in the next election. However, I want to assert that in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, Modi Ji will emerge victorious and become Prime Minister for the third time. No negative force can impede this," he asserted.
Expressing optimism about the BJP's performance in Karnataka, Vijayendra declared, "The BJP will secure victory in all 28 seats in Karnataka. In the last Parliament election, under the leadership of Yediyurappa Ji, there were doubts when he claimed the party would win more than 20 seats. However, the party won 25 seats then. This time, we are confident of winning all 28 seats."
Turning attention to the importance of Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat elections, Vijayendra emphasized the party's commitment to taking these elections seriously and working towards victory.
"Similar to the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, we will take the party worker's elections – the Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat elections – with seriousness. Our dedicated workers have served the party for decades, and it is crucial to acknowledge their contributions," he declared.
Assuring a dedicated focus on the success of the party in all forthcoming elections, Vijayendra emphasized the importance of strengthening the party by involving and gaining the confidence of every member.
