Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has directed the Kagaznagar police to not arrest BRS Sirpur MLA and party candidate Koneru Konappa till December 7.
Justice K. Lakhman has issued the orders in the petition filed by Konappa, seeking to quash an FIR filed against him in the Kagaznagar town police station. The FIR was registered based on a complaint of Syed Fayeem, who accused Konappa and his followers of attempting to murder him during a clash during campaignining.
Earlier, the court had issued orders restraining the police from arresting BSP chief R.S. Praveen Kumar and his son.
