KTR reaches out to resident welfare associations
Hyderabad: In a move to connect with citizens, BRS working president and minsiter K.T. Rama Rao held a telephonic conference with members of resident welfare associations (RWAs) on Thursday.
During the 5-minute and 39-second call, Rao shared updates on the city's progress under the two BRS governments, said Maj. Shiva Kiran (retd), vice president, United Federation of RWAs (Uferwas).
Rao emphasised accomplishments such as the development of the city, increased drinking water supply and enhanced waste management. He also touched upon key infrastructure initiatives like the Strategic Road Development Programme, the expansion of the metro line, and efforts to enhance public transportation, Maj. Kiran (retd) said.
The minister highlighted policies like TS iPass for industries and TS bPass for building permissions. He pointed out advancements in security, including the extensive CCTV network and police applications contributing to Hyderabad's safety.
Rama Rao outlined future goals, including 24-hour water supply, metro expansion, urban flood management, and Musi Riverfront development, the Uferwas vice-president said. Rao urged citizens to endorse a government committed to progress.
