No One Can Stop Congress Victory March in TS: Kharge

Hyderabad: AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge said that no one can stop the victory march of the Congress in Assembly polls in Telangana and his party will form the government with a clear majority in December.

Addressing the public meetings in Alampur and Nalgonda on Wednesday, Kharge alleged that the BRS, BJP and the AIMIM have joined hands to prevent the Congress victory in Assembly polls but said they would not succeed in their attempts.

Alampur candidate S.A.Sampath Kumar, Huzurnagar candidate N.Uttam Kumar Reddy, Nalgonda candidate Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and other leaders took part in the public meetings.

"The BRS, BJP and the AIMIM have come together with a single point agenda of defeating the Congress in the Telangana Assembly polls. But they should realise that they will not succeed in their attempts because the people of Telangana have already made up their mind to elect a Congress government this time," Kharge said.

He slammed BRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and accused him of indulging in huge corruption and ignoring development of Telangana in the last nine years. He said that Chandrashekhar Rao never met the public to know their problems and made all the decisions while sitting in his farmhouse.

Kharge said, "This is an important election. We are fighting this election against corruption. We are fighting this election against the people who forcefully take away the public lands. The development that you wanted didn't happen. Neither the road is fine nor the irrigation took place. There is no development in the schools of the state either. However, KCR has no worries. He makes all the decisions while sitting in his farmhouse and never meets the people. The person who does not meet the public, who does not stay amidst the public, should never be voted for."

Kharge urged the public to vote for the Congress in the state and said that the state would prosper if the party came to power in Telangana.
