Hyderabad: The Congress nominee for Amberpet seat C. Rohin Reddy took out a bike rally in the constituency on Wednesday. Youth in large numbers attended the rally and extended support to him.
Addressing the gathering, he appealed to voters to back the Congress as the BRS and the BJP have failed to develop the constituency in the last two decades. Rohin said that BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy won from this constituency thrice in 2004, 2009 and 2014 and BRS candidate Kaleru Venkatesh won in 2018 but neither ensured basic amenities to the people.
He lamented the delay in construction of flyovers even though the locals are facing several hardships due to traffic jams, day in and day out. The bad condition of roads and the ill-conceived drainage system expose the apathy of BRS and BJP leaders, as regards Amberpet.
