Minister says BJP has dumped Naidu and Pawan
Vijayawada: R&B minister Dadisetti Raja on Tuesday observed that union home minister Amit Shah’s meeting with NTR Junior is clear indication of TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and film actor-cum-Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan having been dumped by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Raja recalled that late NTR had first been backstabbed by then TDP leader Nadendla Bhaskara Rao and next by another TD leader N. Chandrababu Naidu. Both had unseated TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao from chief ministership.
Now, Jana Sena leader Nadendla Manohar and same Chandrababu Naidu are trying to backstab Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. But their plans will not succeed going by the accolades that YSRC government is receiving from the public during the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam programmes being held throughout the state, the minister underlined.
He maintained that people, in fact, are up in arms against both Naidu and Pawan for initiating baseless and false campaigns against the YSRC government, which is benefitting public to the maximum extent.
Raja claimed that BJP considers Pawan a liability for the saffron party. Hence, Amit Shah has met Junior NTR for supporting BJP. “Though the union home minister met Jr. NTR, he did not bother to meet Pawan or Naidu,” he maintained.
The minister criticised Pawan saying the latter has not expressed any gratitude towards his elder brother Chiranjeevi, who is behind the development of his younger brother as an actor. “In fact, Chiranjeevi had to face huge shame when the then TD leader Paritala Ravi tonsured Pawan,” Raja remarked.
He refuted allegations of Pawan Kalyan that Jagan Mohan Reddy has insulted Chiranjeevi. He said that he (Raja) himself has seen how affectionate Chiranjeevi and Jagan are towards each other. He recalled that when Chiranjeevi came to Jagan’s house in the past and recently at the Bhimavaram event, they treated each other like blood brothers.
