Youth protest against BJP MLA Raja Singh at Charminar
HYDERABAD: A massive protest broke out at Charminar late on Tuesday night with hundreds of youth congregating at the historic landmark, shouting slogans including ‘we want justice’ and protesting against release of BJP MLA T. Raja Singh, who was arrested earlier in the day.
Some youth were carrying black flags, while a few others were carrying placards seeking action. The situation, the police, who were monitoring the goings on, was peaceful.
More people were expected to arrive at Charminar from other parts of the Old City.
Meanwhile, a protest also broke out in Amberpet with a large group of people heading to the police station to lodge a complaint against T. Raja Singh.
