Hyderabad: Several Congress leaders filed their applications for Assembly seats at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday. The party has been receiving applications since August 18 and Thursday was the last day
The party has so far received over 700 applications, including more than 200 on Thursday. The leaders who filed their papers include, apart from TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy from Kodangal, T. Jeevan Reddy from Jagtial, Ponnala Lakshmaiah from Jangaon, Shabbir Ali from Kamareddy and K. Jana Reddy’s son K. Raghuveer Reddy.
Regulapati Ramya Rao, daughter of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s brother, submitted her application for the Karimnagar seat.
