Jana Sena is BJP ally, we must work together: Purandeswari

The BJP state president Purandeswari told party cadre that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon be launching the Vishwa Karma scheme

Visakhapatnam: BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari underlined that Jana Sena is BJP’s ally and AP BJP state office bearers should work with JS.

Addressing a meeting of the BJP state office bearers in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, she declared that Andhra Pradesh will collapse under debt burden if the YSRC regime continues. While the debt had been only ₹3.74 lakh crore under the TD regime, it has reached ₹7.44 lakh crore after YSRC has come to power.

“Contractors have not received their pending bills. AP government floated beverage bonds. But no one came forward to buy them. Funds are not being released to panchayats. On all these issues, we must work with our ally Jana Sena. BJP can achieve victory,” Purandeswari underlined.

With regard to Tirupati, she charged that religious conversions are going on in Tirumala and TTD does not care. As forests are occupied by smugglers of red sanders, wild animals are coming into human settlements. The situation is alarming, she stated.

The BJP state president told party cadre that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon be launching the Vishwa Karma scheme. Artisans involved in making 17 types of handicrafts will receive help.

She assured that Polavaram project will be completed. She clarified that centre will not do any injustice to RINL steel plant in Visakhapatnam. She maintained that former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu opted for a special package for Andhra Pradesh, instead of special status for it.

BJP AP in-charge Sunil Deodhar, state leader Somu Veerraju, state vice president Vishnu Kumar Raju and state general secretary P.V.N. Madhav were among those who participated in the meeting.
