Jagan Likely to Reply to Discussions on Naidu's \"Scams\" in Assembly Today
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to speak on Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest and the AP Skill Development scam in the state assembly on Monday.
The CM, suffering from a fever, avoided speaking in the assembly during the first two days of the monsoon session. YSR Congress members are keen on exposing the alleged acts of "corruption" in the Amaravati Inner Ring Road, AP FiberNet, assigned lands, and other dealings of the former TD government, during the remaining three days of the session.
The state assembly would take up a short discussion on the "corruption" in the Skill Development Corporation. On Friday, finance minister Buggana Rajendranath, former ministers Kurasala Kannababu and Perni Venkataramaiah, housing minister Jogi Ramesh, and others spoke about the involvement of Naidu, Lokesh, and others in the scam through PowerPoint presentations.
The chief minister would round up the discussions and reply to the debate later as he was unwell. Speaker Thammineni Sitaram adjourned the assembly to Monday.
The CM will likely speak in the assembly on Monday on Naidu’s arrest and the APSSDC scam.
There would be discussions in the assembly on Monday on government measures for women empowerment, regularization of assigned lands - comprehensive land survey I, and corruption in assigned lands during the previous Telugu Desam government.
On Sept 26, the assembly would discuss the advancement of the agriculture sector, the steps taken by the government, and corruption in Fibernet during the TD term.
The next day, the Corruption in CRDA outer ring road design alignment change in Amaravati, the revolutionary changes in the health sector, and governmental steps for the development of temples would be discussed.
YSRC ministers and legislators are confident about exposing Naidu’s involvement in the assigned lands scam in Amaravati, the FiberNet scam, and the Amaravati Inner Ring Road scam. They would target both Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh.
Notably, the alignment of the inner ring road (IRR) and seed capital case was registered by the AP CID. Chandrababu Naidu is the prime accused in this case, Ponguru Narayana, the then minister for municipal administration & urban development the second accused, Lingamaneni Ramesh and Lingamaneni VS Rajasekhar of Lingamaneni group in whose guesthouse Naidu was living the third and fourth accused, KPV Anjani Kumar of RK Housing the fifth accused and M/s Heritage Foods of the Naidu’s family and others the other accused in the case.

Ltd, Heritage Foods, etc., and at the cost of public exchequer.
They abused their official positions and entrusted the work of making designs of IRR, capital city area, and seed capital to the companies that worked as per their directives, it was alleged.
The alleged scams linked to Naidu in the setting of the AP FibreNet scam and Amaravati assigned lands are likely to heat up the discussions in the assembly in the next three days, political sources said.
