BJP has betrayed TS on railway coach factory: Government whip
WARANGAL: Government chief whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar accused the BJP-led government at the centre of betraying the people of Telangana by announcing that it will not be possible to establish a railway coach factory at Kazipet, though the same had been promised at the time of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing media at his camp office in Hanamkonda on Saturday, Bhaskar said the people of Kazipet had kept their hopes alive for the past eight years eagerly waiting for the establishment of the railway coach factory. Similarly, he said BJP has refused to establish a steel factory at Bayyaram.
The MLA charged BJP leaders of Telangana, including union minister G. Kishan Reddy, of keeping quiet when most of the development projects are being diverted to other states. He pointed out that the BJP government has announced that the new railway coach factory will be set up at Kokrajhar in Assam.
Bhaskar accused Kishan Reddy of launching false propaganda against the state government saying it had not allotted land for the coach factory. He challenged the union minister to make the same charge by taking an oath on the Sri Bhadrakali Goddess.
The government whip said the people of Telangana are ready to give BJP a send-off for doing nothing for the state.
