Walk with Jagananna' to commemorate 1,000 km
Vijayawada: On January 28, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will complete 1,000 km of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Nellore.
The party has planned a state-wide campaign “walk with Jagananna” on the same day.
At all the 13 district headquarters of Andhra Pradesh, “walk with Jagananna” is being held in line with the completion of the YSRCP chief’s first 1,000 km of Praja Sankalpa Yatra, which is organised by the YSRC city, district presidents and district frontal units.
Similarly, in all the 175 Assembly Constituencies of Andhra Pradesh, ‘Walk with Jagananna’ is being organised by the Assembly Constituency coordinator under the guidance of the regional coordinators. At all locations, the event will be flagged off after paying tributes to the late Chief Minister Dr Y.S. Rajashekara Reddy.
Y.S. Jagan, who is on a 3,000-km-long historic walkathon, has been garnering support from all corners; people from different walks of life are participating with Jagan in his padayatra trail.
Mr Reddy has held many exclusive meetings with various communities, sections of the society in his padayatra and has covered four districts — Kadapa, Kurnool, Anantapur and Chittoor — so far.
Nearly 5,000 people join him daily for the padayatra from the regions the YSRC chief is walking.
The ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’ has witnessed people and representatives from various sections of society come to meet the opposition leader in large numbers to raise their issues and extend their support.
The padayatra, which started from YSR’s district, is currently taking the inroads at Sullurpet assembly constituency, Nellore district.
