Parties conspiring to break alliance with JS, says BJP
Vijayawada: AP BJP state general secretary S. Vishnuvardhan Reddy alleged that some political parties are conspiring to break the alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Jana Sena by launching a misinformation campaign.
Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, the BJP leader made it clear that their alliance will only become stronger and BJP and JS will contest ensuing assembly polls in the state together against the misrule of ruling YSR Congress government.
Vishnuvardhan asked a section of political leaders not to underestimate BJP’s strength, as they would go to polls with the development agenda adopted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The BJP leader criticised ruling YSR Congress regime for claiming to have taken up developmental works during the last three and half years in the state. He maintained that the ruling party has failed in taking up any project that could be useful for future generations.
Vishnuvardhan castigated Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu for failing to develop the state during his five years of reign and on the contrary causing trouble for farmers with his wrong decisions on certain issues. He blamed TDP for issuing of G.O. No. 1, as it conducted public meetings in a manner that resulted in the death of people in stampedes.
Referring to speculation that BJP senior leader Kanna Lakshminarayana is switching his loyalty, he asked critics whether he (Lakshminarayana) had told them so.
