Asad questions Modi about seriousness of Muslim Outreach'
HYDERABAD: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the Prime Minister Narendra Modi about ‘Muslim Outreach for Pasmanda’ following the scrapping of four per cent quota to OBC (Muslims) in Karnataka. Owaisi wondered as to how Modi's love for Pasmanda was a farce.
“The BJP government in Karnataka removes reservation for poor Muslims in education and jobs. This is Narendra Modi’s ‘Muslim outreach’ and love for Pasmanda Muslims. Whether it’s hijab or reservations, the target is Muslims’ progress in education and employment (sic),” he tweeted.
Later he questioned as to why the Centre had failed to initiate a probe against Adani over allegations. “Why is there no UAPA case against Amritpal, despite the heavy cache of weapons that have been recovered? Why has there been no FIR on money laundering in Hindenburg's allegations against Adani or action by SEBI? Why tax sops for rich PE investors and none for the middle class,” he asked.
