BJP gears up for its 'maha dharna' on unemployment, TSPSC leaks in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: The Telangana BJP is all set for its ‘maha dharna’ with unemployed persons at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park, on Saturday, with the party saying the issue of unemployment in the state was not just limited to the scandal that exploded after the TSPSC question paper leaks, but that the leaks had much wider ramifications for youth and their employment prospects.
“The question of the leaks is not limited to the attempts to portray it as a crime committed by two individuals by IT minister K.T. Rama Rao. Had there not been disputes over payment of money for the leaked question papers and how the money was to be shared, the scandal would have never seen the light of the day. The case is an example of how the whole issue was sought to be suppressed and how the unemployed would have suffered as a result,” according to BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
It is precisely because of the impact it has that the BJP has taken up this issue with such seriousness and our party will not rest until an investigation is ordered with a sitting judge heading the probe. We are also not going to back down from our demand for Rs 1 lakh as compensation to those who spent money for the cancelled TSPSC exams, and the removal of Rama Rao from the Cabinet as he is the IT minister, the BJP leader has said.
