BJP Minority Morcha says MIM leaders taking law into their hands
HYDERABAD: The BJP’s Minority Morcha launched a severe criticism of MIM legislators, accusing them of acting like goons and terrorising even the city police. Morcha state president Afsar Pasha told reporters that AIMIM leaders were behaving as if they owned the Old City and in a manner worse that was worse than the Razakars, from whom the party had descended.
Pasha alleged that some MIM MLAs and corporators raided the Lalaguda police station and took away by force 18 persons who were taken into custody. “Of these 18, six are now absconding and no one knows if they are terrorists, people staying illegally, or what they have been up to,” Pasha said.
He said even home minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali had been a silent spectator. Pasha alleged that an AIMIM MLC was involved in a murder and demanded that the police immediately arrest the MLC.
