KCR to Hold Meeting with BRS Candidates, Guide Them on \"100-Day Campaign Strategy\"
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will hold his first meeting with the party candidates for upcoming Assembly polls on August 28 at Telangana Bhavan, according to party sources. All 115 candidates, whose names Rao had announced on August 21, have been informed of the meeting.
Sources added that the CM is expected to name the candidates for the remaining four constituencies by August 28. This will make BRS the only party to declare all candidates for the polls that are scheduled in December.
Rao is expected to guide the nominees on a "100 day campaign strategy' for Assembly polls.
Sources said that Rao has devised the strategy for every constituency, and would start on September 1.
Rao is also expected to share constituency-specific data with nominees on the achievements of the BRS with respect to welfare schemes and development programmes. This will include data on the funds spent in each constituency, number of people who received the benefits of welfare schemes, development projects executed and the expenditure incurred.
The data will lay special emphasis on the funds transferred to bank accounts of beneficiaries in the form of Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, Aasara pensions, Dalit Bandhu, CMRF, KCR Kits etc and the number of beneficiaries who will be covered under the new schemes Gruha Lakshmi, BC Bandhu, Minority Bandhu, 2BHK houses, next phase of Dalit Bandhu etc.
Besides, data on the number of beneficiaries covered under Rs 1 per kg ration rice scheme, free power to agriculture Arogyasri, fee reimbursement, scholarships will be given to party candidates.
The idea is to make party candidates fully aware of the work the BRS government had done for the people in terms of welfare schemes and evelopment programmes so as to help them meet the beneficiaries and seek their support
