Hyderabad: AICC general secretary K.C. Venugopal (organisation) has appointed Mehroz Khan as co-incharge of the party war room to oversee election-related matters in Telangana state.
In a release, he said the appointment had been made for the November 30 Assembly elections. The appointment has been communicated to AICC in-charge of the state Manikrao Thakre and TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy, a statement said.
The Congress had set up a war room recently at Indira Bhavan, to monitor the distribution of Congress guarantee cards to the people at the booth level and ensure that the cards reach every applicant without fail.
